Bronson, lovingly known as Duke or “Dukie” by family and friends, brought happiness to those around him. The youngest of seven children, he grew up on the island of Hawai‘i and embraced life with a ready smile and a love for helping others. A freshman at Honoka‘a High School, Duke played junior varsity football and looked forward to trying out for the junior varsity baseball team.

When a senseless tragedy took his life, Duke’s family honored his caring spirit through organ and eye donation. His kidneys and liver saved three lives, and his cornea donation gave sight to two others.

Amid profound grief, Duke’s parents made a compassionate decision that brought hope to other families. Remembered as a true hero by his loved ones, Duke leaves a legacy of generosity, love, and lives forever changed.
