Donor Remembrance Ceremony

Remembering their lives. Honoring their gifts.

A time to come together in remembrance of loved ones who gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation.

How We Honor Donors and Their Families

Every donor was someone deeply loved. Our annual Donor Remembrance Ceremony honors their lives and generosity, bringing families together through personal tributes, shared reflections, and a butterfly release. It is a space to remember loved ones, connect with others, and find moments of comfort and hope.

Ceremony Information

We share ceremony information and invitations privately with donor families. For questions about invitations and ceremony information, please contact Family Services.

Moments of Remembrance

These photos offer a glimpse of the love and aloha shared throughout the gathering.

Memories Stitched with Aloha

Families add a personal square to the Hawaii Donor Quilt, creating a lasting tribute to the people they loved. Each square carries a story; together, they reflect the many lives and families connected through donation.
