Share Your Time. Share Hope.
Volunteers are the heart of Legacy of Life Hawai‘i. By sharing your time and passion, you help bring awareness to the life-saving power of organ, eye, and tissue donation across our islands.
Our volunteers come from many backgrounds — donor families, transplant recipients, healthcare partners, students, and community members who simply believe in helping others. Together, they help spread a message of hope, healing, and generosity throughout Hawai‘i.
Even a small amount of time can make a meaningful difference.
Ways You Can Help
There are many ways to support the mission of Legacy of Life Hawai‘i.
Volunteers may choose to:

-
Represent Legacy of Life Hawai‘i at community events
-
Help share donation education and awareness
-
Support Donate Life Month activities in April
-
Assist with donor remembrance events and outreach programs
-
Help encourage others to register as organ donors
Whether you prefer helping behind the scenes or speaking with the public, there is a place for you in our volunteer ‘ohana.

Become a Volunteer Ambassador
Volunteer Ambassadors help carry the message of donation throughout our community. Through training and support from our team, ambassadors learn about the donation process and how to share accurate information about organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Once trained, volunteers may participate in outreach opportunities that fit their interests, schedule, and comfort level.
